Viewers watch him scuba dive, pothole, mountain climb and wade through swamps, all to seek out an eclectic mix of weird and wonderful creatures. This incredible series begins as Nick ventures out to Slovenia in search of the Olm. Living in total darkness this incredible animal has no eyes or skin pigmentation and can live up to 100 years.

Travelling onto Louisiana Nick hunts down the largest freshwater crocodile in North America weighing in at a massive 175lb. From big to small Nick also meets the real life Yoda, the Spectral Tarsier, also tiniest primate in the world, standing at just 9cm tall, and finds out why it was the inspiration for the iconic Star Wars character. Finally viewers come face to face with the Flying Frog from Borneo, as Nick discovers it can soar a staggering 50m. Venturing through some of the worlds most bizarre and untouched landscapes on the planet Nick is more determined than ever to introduce viewers to some of the most unique creatures on earth.
