ORIENTATION The cardinal points are E S W N Zenith and Nadir. The East is also called the ascendant, and the West the descendant. If the natal Nadir is in Lupus; then when Chariklo dwells in Lupus, it transits the client's natal Nadir and love kisses one's topknot. The Stargate is used as cardinal point in galactic astrology. 16 ASCENDANTS There are 88 ascendants. This defines the total of ascendental constellations /1/. This epoch has 16 ascendants in all. /2//0/ 28 ZODIACAL CONSTELLATIONS The IAU standards define the zodiacal constellations. There are 28 zodiacal constellations in all. If we substract Pluto, we obtain 24 constellations /4/. When we conveniently split Serpens in Cauda Serpens and Caput Serpens, we operate within a "29 constellations zodiac" /5/. The number (28) of the IAU zodiacal constellations is fixed (28) for all practiacal purposes. /7/ TRANSNEPTUNIAN AND CENTAUR OBJECTS Objects are always delineated in the constellations they happen to be in. A comet may be in Microscopium, an Earth trojan in Puppis. This helps orientation, as well as true perspective. Especially popular classes of objects like cubewano, centaur and plutino objects have conveniently been delineated in the constellation they happen to be in. We have no problems calculating horoscopes and local zodiacs in any position in spacetime. If there's an underwater explosion, we use the precise coordinates for the event. In cases such as the WTC (Moon in Orion is also Usama's natal Moon) we use the elevation and seizmo data. IHVH We have no problem with God, since we try and project heavens exactly the way He intended us to. We don't invent ascendants /6/ or shrink skies to fit some odd preconception. When the Sun is in Ophiucus, it is in Ophiucus. Spica Virginis is in Virgo, it's main blessed star. It is easy to interpret the skies and heavens as they are, and it is in fact very hard to interpret "Spica Virginis in Libra". The devil has never been good at math. Neither his followers.
